To support our customers to select eco-friendly product alternatives, we have created a range of sustainability icons to demonstrate the environmental, ethical, and social characteristics within each product.
Our approach is based upon putting an end to greenwashing. Greenwashing is the concept of making a product sound or seem to have less of a negative environmental impact than it actually does.
We believe sustainability and traceability go hand in hand and we are committed to transparency throughout our supply chains, giving our customers confidence in the integrity of our eco product ranges.
To ensure all our eco products are truly sustainable they undergo a thorough assessment. Look for the Eco icon to identify our sustainable product ranges.
Eco products will show the sustainable icon and characteristics related to the product, whether it is reusable and recyclable through to green manufacturing or made locally in the UK.

Reusable
As we all strive to become more sustainable the demand for reusable products amongst consumers continues to grow. Reusable products can be used multiple times for the same purpose, or for a completely different occasion. They conserve resources, reduce waste and cause less pollution, so they are a great option for customers when selecting product ranges. Look out for our reusable product range.Recyclable
Recycling is sustainable because it reduces both the need for virgin materials at the start of the life cycle and landfill space at the end. From metals that can be recycled without limits, through to recyclable paper based products and plastics. Each product will be assessed to determine its level of recyclability. Look out for the recyclable icon when selecting products.Manufacture
Green manufacturing establishes renewable production processes and environmentally friendly practices in manufacturing businesses. The processes help limit a manufacturer's impact on the plant, enact positive change, and encourage other businesses to follow suit. Watch out for green manufacture icon.Certification
Product certification gives assurance that a product has been produced to meet particular industry standards. From FSC paper, that enables customers to choose wood, paper and other forest products that have been responsibly sourced, through to GOTS certification, that certifies organic production of raw materials such as cotton. All certified products will be identifiable by the environmental certification icon.UK Made
UK manufacturing significantly decreases the mileage a product has to travel and in turn, the fuel required and resulting carbon emissions. We are therefore committed to developing our local supply chain to support our objective to reduce our carbon footprint and impact on the environment. Look out for the UK icon for all products sourced in the UK.Material
Products made from sustainable materials create fewer stresses on the environment throughout their life cycle. From products sourced from natural resources, such as recycled cotton, wood and plant-based materials, through to biodegradable materials that decompose easily.
